Environment and quality
Quality and quality management are an integrated part of all our operations.
Our aim is to reduce the amount of waste, as well as the unnecessary use of natural resources, without sacrificing the quality of the final printed product. In 2009, Helprint Oy joined the Energy Savings Agreement. Our aim is to reduce our energy use by 9% by 2016.
Helprint Oy is also an environmentally marked printing company. Our company has the right to use the environmental sign for the Scandinavian countries, i.e. The Swan ecolabel, for all of our printed products. The Swan ecolabel means that the printing product causes less environmental harm than other corresponding printing products. On 29.4.2009, Helprint Oy was awarded the Chain-of-Custody certificate of origin, plus the user rights of the PEFC label for printed products. Furthermore, we additionally received the FSC certificate ® on 3.5.2009. The PEFC and FSC labels show that the raw wood used in the printed products originates from managed forests, in accordance with sustainable development.
When connected to printed products, the PEFC or FSC-label shows that the printing company monitors and supervises the origin of their acquired paper throughout the whole preparation process.
Operating System
Helprint Oy is one of the first Finnish printing plants, which has a widely certified operating system. The system guides our operation for the good of the continued development of our clientele, the environment, our employees and our company.Our quality system is ISO 9001 certified. For our clientele and our stakeholders, the quality operation means good quality control, an excellent customer service, and a cost-effective operation.
We have received OHSAS 18001 certification in regards to our occupational health and safety matters.
