CirclePrinters changes its name
18 April 2018 – Amsterdam, Netherlands: As of today CirclePrinters, a leading European media and printing service group, changes its name to Circle Media Group (www.circlemediagroup.com) and launches new group structure. Acquisition of Corelio Printing (Belgium) is completed and included in new North-West Europe Division (CMG NWE). Following the merger of the CirclePrinters and Roto Smeets Group last year and with the recent acquisition of the web-offset printing company Corelio in Belgium it is the right time for a new Group name to reflect a broader future as a Pan European communication company with a strong heritage in print and with a clear vision of a digital future. With 2,700 employees and revenues of €550 million, the company strives to become the European leader in the delivery of (digital) print and media capabilities. The names of the operating companies remain unchanged.
Together with the new group name, the structure will also be changed with the introduction of three service pillars reflecting and servicing the needs of our customers: ‘Strategy, Content & Data Insights’, ‘Magazines & Retail printing’ and ‘Books printing’. These service pillars include the various operating companies of the group.
The largest service pillar by revenue and employees, ‘Magazines & Retail printing’, will consist of three regional divisions: Circle Media Group North-West Europe (CMG NWE), encompassing all operations in the Netherlands, Belgium & Finland as well as the sales offices in this region (including Corelio Printing); Circle Media Group Central Europe (CMG CE) including operations in Austria, Germany and Hungary and Circle Media Group Iberia (CMG Iberia), including the Spanish operations.
To lead the integration of the business activities for CMG NWE, Conré Oostrom and Marceline Beijer have been employed as Managing Director and Commercial Director respectively. Both have extensive and broad experience in cross-border mergers and have successfully led businesses through post-merger integration.
Peter Andreou, Chairman & CEO of Circle Media Group says: “Our rebranding is more than just a new name. It reflects our ambition to play the leading role in the consolidation of the European print and media industry, whilst understanding the need to become a broader media player with strong commanding roots in print and with a clear vision on a digital future. This will further strengthen our role as a diverse media partner for our customers and their needs, offering a growing level of innovation and added value.”
